NEISPUO

NEISPUO is Bulgaria’s National Electronic Information System for Preschool and School Education (“Национална електронна информационна система за предучилищното и училищното образование”). It’s a web-based platform used by directors, teachers, parents, students, and administrative staff across schools, kindergartens, and related education centers, created to provide unified and easier administration of the educational process nationwide.

What the platform does (high level)

From the official user guides, NEISPUO covers typical “digital school administration + e-diary” workflows, for example:

• Teachers / directors: dashboard, schedules, lesson/hour management, diaries (“Дневници”), thematic plans, teacher absences, and admin functions.
• Directors/admins (extra): institutional administration like new school-year setup, non-school days, shifts, etc.
• Parents: parent registration, adding a student, student “notebook/gradebook” view, medical notes, parent communication, and notification settings.
• Students: access to their notebook and dashboards (where enabled).

It also supports a Progressive Web App (PWA) flow for mobile-like installation (the docs reference using the diary site).

The documentation also notes it’s built to comply with Bulgarian education regulations (e.g., Ordinances №8/2016, №10/2016, №11/2016).
